I am Douglas Panepinto, welcome to this blog
Hello everyone,

A bit about myself, I joined the military in July 1991 and was medically retired in February 2003. I was married on July 28th, 1995 and unfortunately was divorced July 2020, it's been a bad year for all of us. It is what caused me to need a mover. Unfortunately I was fooled into believing Route 66 moving and Storage was a reputable company, further enticed by a low ball estimate and shown all high tech features their "white glove service" would include I signed a contract with these scoundrels.
After 45 days of attempting to get any resolution, heck even a reply at this point my patience has ended, however reviews such as Yelp are not very in-depth, I will leave a 1 star review of course but I figured people might wish to see proof of how their precious items will be treated, they might want to know the detailed story including dates, job numbers, estimates and costs.

For this purpose I created a blog, first to warn ANYONE even thinking of using Route 66 moving and storage to move and care for your things. Secondly I would like you to consider Boycotting Route 66 moving and storage, after all if they treat a disabled veteran in these trying times of Covid19 as my story will describe, how well do you think they will treat your goods, furniture, and precious memories.

Do not be fooled by their inflated over all Yelp rating of 4 stars, read the reviews (especially the negative ones), read my story, examine my pictures and ask your self is dealing with Route 66 worth the risk to some of your most precious items?
